I have started using their service and find some of their calls very good, especially from Shortcrusher and Fundtrader (today's IFO spotlight was something that I was very impressed with). Although most of their stuff is useless, a few gems do come your way.

I don't mind paying $300 a month for good information: I pay much more for institutional order flow calls from my prime brokers. However, my time and concentration is what I am worried about losing, not a measly $300. Allocating time and resources on something new and getting the hang of it...

Steve... Did you actually use Briefing Trader, or you are just thinking its a waste of money? I have seen a few of their posts and they seem to have decent calls (a friend of trader that I sit next to gave it to him, but he had a trial version). Just want to know if anyone uses it fulltime

Oils/Oil services are definitely a sector that is not for the faint of heart, however, much opportunity exists in them almost every day (anyone catch that $XOI -35 move on monday?). I recommenced following a group of oils and then expanding your universe. Stay away from high priced/crazy ones...
