Never used them but I can tell you all infomercial trading systems are crap. There is no catch all system that works on all markets and is as simple as red light green light. The testimonials are from people who get lucky.

How easy is it to learn to create your own formulas? Is it better then tradestation in this aspect?

I think that is only for the securities accounts, not the futures accounts. I checked with many Futures firms and none insured customer funds. Are you sure IB insures futures accounts as well?
