I use verizon dsl. ..well, it's actualy not supposed to be symmetrical... i don't know why it is. It's suposed to be 3.0M down/768K up for my current service.. But somehow the actual down speed is MUCH slower for some reason when i tested it... while i don't expect it to go really up to 3.0M...
