Yes I installed the upgrade. Was connected after that but have been disconnected from the Tradestation Servers for the last 45 min. Have logged in 3 times already. I AM CLOSING MY ACCOUNT MONDAY !!!

Can only receive Data. Is anyone else having problems connecting to the Trading Servers.

On the CME your limit order will be executed but not your stop order. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/trading/usFuturesStopOrder.php

Only if IB simulates a stop for you eg Trailing Stops then if IB's feed with the CME goes down then your stop will not be executed. But if you have a STOP LIMIT order then it will trigger as it is already on the GLOBEX servers.

If your stop is native on the Exchange then it will get triggered even though the client feed is down. Globex has native Stop Limit orders.

IB should take their infrastucture seriously as they have a lot of clients stranded. Thank God I had Tradestation and they are up and running. ES is at 1325 and IB died when the ES was at 1323.75.

I have been trading the ES for a while but I have noticed that whenever I put a stop the market reverses from that stop.Any advice on what the optimum stop size should be. Thanks

Hi I am currently trading with IB and do about 100 contracts a month and might increase volume.Any firms recommended for a lower commission than $4.80 with IB.
