    Reliable International Firms?

Columnist Robert Weinstein, who resides in Wisconsin, recently started w/ them. http://www.paid2trade.com/blogs/robert-weinstein Don't know if he's prop or retail. In prop terms, their rates and leverage do not appear to be that great (but I have not talked with them personally). Website...

Which Prop Firms provide the best mentorships and training?

Other than the relatively minor fees, what are the pertinent regs that make parking a license an issue -- or is it really pretty much a matter of the firm's (obvious) preference for more volume?

    Free workshop, Thursday o

Someone began talking in my ear just as you answered the question I posted during the session about whether or not your opening strategy had returned to mirroring historical results. Could you pls. recap your answer briefly? TIA, -cag

Last time I checked, JC was based in Michigan.

lets try part 3, seeking $150 desk fee Prop firm

Some firms may offer proprietary s/w at n/c. For example, last time I checked, Hold was charging for Sterling, but also offering its own Graybox s/w for no charge. (Either way, still have to pay for data, of course.)

    Volcker Rule

Don, you're a constituent of the U.S. Senate majority leader's. You might want to make sure that he fully understands the industry and the impact such a tax might have -- particularly if applied in a ham-handed manner.

Better, IMHO, would be: Voices from the Trading Floor Caveat: Have no idea if already in use.

Unregistered LLCs and Canadian Based Companies busted

In rereading my previous post, the overall context of my above statement may have been unfair, and I regret posting it. Not only do I have no idea if it's the same guy, I also do not know if the Rizzo associated with Epiphany misbehaved in any way with respect to the collapse of that entity.

Unregistered LLCs and Canadian Based Companies busted

Can't be sure but could be the same Lisa Hyatt in La Jolla who was an ex-principal of Tuco and/or ex-manager at Ocean View Capital. There was a Richard Rizzo associated with Epiphany -- but I have no idea if it's the same guy.

Dark storm cloud brewing on payout rules

If the max payout CBSX firms are allowed drops from 99% to 80%, then it seems to me that the commish structure would have to be adjusted accordingly. Otherwise, the model would become unviable for too many traders.

    Series 56 - LOL Thread

Also: At this pt., I've taken neither exam, but I'm guessing that the available study guides for the 7 vs. the 56 are going to be much more on target for some time to come yet.

Dark Liquidity vs. EdgeA on Citigroup

I was not seeking or expecting an encyclopedic response, NYOB. I understand the math. And I've done some experimenting. And it seems like, in contrast to rebate trading something static like C, to the degree there is price movement, the trade-off (in math/probability terms) between getting the...

Dark Liquidity vs. EdgeA on Citigroup

I definitely plead guilty to this, because it's been easiest to simply settle for the most certainty of execution. In order to do a better job of it, I need to get a better handle on the trade-off between getting the rebate and taking a bigger chance of missing a fill (or getting a poorer...
