6E volume is fine with decent volatility up until about noon EST. You can trade it from 8am - noon if the London open at 4am is too early for you.

The reason i said that is I know a vendor that sells a system which trades ambush on a tick chart...he just happens to use TOS and Sierra and his account is with infinity. Looked like too much of a coincidence to me.

CTA's were killed last week just like they were in the fall of 2008 because most sell options on S&P futures - leverage on leverage. There are dozens of CTA premium sellers doing this and even the ones selling spreads get killed.

Not sure if this is the answer to your issue: As of Sunday night 10/4/2009 the CME changed the way it reports trades. I don't know the particulars but they are sending "more information faster". Pull up a tick chart of the ES from last Friday and compare it to Monday and Tuesday - you are now...
