I was looking at getting the vostro 3700 until i saw this thread. Did you ever get rid of the noise? I like having a 17 inch screen. Also looking at Latitude e6510. Screen is only 15.6 but can get resolution of 1920x1080 v 1600x900 in the 17 inch vostro.

Thanks for the info. Do you like your DELL latitude E6500? I am leaning towards dell because I have never had any problems with them and like the 3 year warranty it comes with. I have used a Dell Lattitude D810 for about 5 years now and it was a rock.

Did you try it with an HDMI to DVI adapter? I dont have an HDMI monitor. Also if you do the above set up with one of those USB adapters could you get a third screen going? Thanks for your input Bolimomo.

Lightspeed had a phone outage earlier today. I have accounts at both IB and Lightspeed. Both have pretty bad customer service but IB is probably worse. Lightspeed is much better platform for equity trading. I like IBs universal account.

Placing orders and immediately canceling happens all day long in the stocks I trade. The intent may not be to manipulate but the end result is manipulation because it distorts the true supply and demand of the market. Implementing an order cancellation fee would help solve the problem...
