http://nymag.com/news/features/32382/ "Cramer vs. Cramer" “Why does everybody hate me?” The Wall Street maniac explains his critics, the market, and himself. By James J. Cramer Published May 28, 2007

Proof Cramer is a fraud and a nut job

He does ("ACTION ALERTS CHARITABLE TRUST") and I believe he is under performing the SP500 over any type of time frame from inception (2004? 2005?) until now. Anybody (a subscriber) have the exact numbers?

Quoted because I couldn't agree more with the above. If anyone wants to start trading or any other business then treat it like one.

Bespoke Investment Group has some great graphs and charts

Short interest increased +80% as the SP500 rallied 100% from 2003 through 2007. How is it a good indicator of future stock market performance?

Proof Cramer is a fraud and a nut job

The biggest mystery to me is why would a guy like Cramer who is worth at least $50m, $75m or even $100m wake up at 4:30am, drive one hour to get to his TheStreet.com office, then drive to the TV studio and tape his TV show for some ridiculous salary. Waste 12 hours a day for what? Why doesn't...

Why everyone is trying to find a top in crude

I think its the same in many assets, not just crude. People love the idea of being right and earning bragging rights instead of making money with lower risk. They're bottom picking and top picking everywhere and getting their heads handed to them.

    Peter Schiff interview from 2006....

I didn't say he was not 'correct'. He's a brocken-clock perma bear, not a flexible investor. I said he's talking his book and never ever made a single bullish call for US stocks or the US economy, not even 2003 one of the biggest and broadest rallies in the last 50 years. I will completely...

    Peter Schiff interview from 2006....

Then why did he not become bullish as stocks rallied 50% in 2003 from low interest rates? Being the smart and educated economist he is, he could have seen that employment grew and corporate profits improved. If he's so smart and great, why did he stubbornly remain bearish like a deer in the...

    Peter Schiff interview from 2006....

Not sure if you missed it, but I didn't post any of my opinions but I simply quoted Peter Schiff. The truth hurts, fanboys, doesn't it?

    New stock_trad3r index

Just assume $10k were used to purchase each ticker with the quotes above. Should yield the amount of shares. Total 9 names x $10k = $90k.

Banks left holding the bag on commercial real estate projects

Thought this was a pretty interesting article. Specifically the amount of commercial real estate assets on the balance sheets of big banks and 'optimistic' (naive?) related write downs Lehman and Deutsche Bank have taken thus far...

    sigh..not again

People sitting on their stocks hoping that they turn around usually doesn't create good quality market bottoms. Need a washout.

    Peter Schiff interview from 2006....

Peter Schiff, May 9th 2002: - "We're just in the very early stages of a gigantic bear market, the Dow will fall to somewhere between 2000 and 4000" - "This is just the beginning of the recession, it's going to get much much worse" - "The debt induced housing boom is about to stall this or...

Breaking News: Saudi Arabia to Increase Oil Production to 9.7 Million/Brl Per Day

Hmm the way I read it Saudi Arabia will increase its nation's total crude output by 2%. That's +200k barrels per day or +0.2% of global daily production.

    Kudlows goldilocks economy.....

ByLo, you make very good points and very accurate observations. Aside from all hard facts and economics, America is still a great country and has great and unique people. And I am a European that says that. The US has pulled through the 70s, 81/82, 1990/91 and the DotCom/9-11 depression...
