should most analysis be discarded as it is "too much information"

So very true. Some claim random entries can be turned into a profitable system. In reality, they often test a huge number of different MM methods, and focus on a few of these that statistically looked positive. That is called "cherry picking" your back tests. If you do 100 samples of 100...

SickTrader and his viral marketing campaign

If it is "sick, embittered and psycho" to strongly debate trading with people who are spammers, who prey on newbies, who over simplify a very complex method (gee, $700 to $200,000 in 60+ days)." - and will lure a number of others to face blowup and bankruptcy, who replace "proof" with opinion...

should most analysis be discarded as it is "too much information"

You formulate a theory about supp/res, you put at least 500-1000 trades of different instruments over a long time period, and you see if something predictable happens. That is called "statistical validity/significance." Then, you pick a completely unrelated large set, and see if the theory...

Trading is hard, very hard, damn hard

It is painful to read newbie posts like this. This is what paper traders think and say.

Trading is hard, very hard, damn hard

This is the least important of all trading statistics. Winning% is a function of emotions and money management. Small wins and large losses = high winning%. Profit Factor, Sharpe/Sortino, max DD and others are far far more importany.

    Trading Signal Services

99% of them don't work. They are often published here. The other 1% are extremely hard to find - there is no advantage to a subscriber to one of these to tell anyone else. After all, an edge is usually only good if it is little known. Telling the difference is extremely hard!

How many people here actually make a living?

Few traders make a longterm, lucrative living from trading with a modest sized account.. But a lot more talk about it or are paper traders.

    trading systems vendor?

I have seen this site quite a few times. Their systems are nothing impressive. Saturated ones are people throwing money at something who do not grasp that "past performance may not correlate to future performance". A number of those sold-out systems languished after that point. This site...

    Let's Trade III, by Sicktrader

The only resemblance between your respons text, and "truth", is that they both inhabit the English-language domain. Other than that, you are a deeply-disturbed individual. You are now drifting in the direction of cold/c-kid/Jasonn...

should most analysis be discarded as it is "too much information"

A self-fulfilling prophecy does not necessarily mean anything. This is a continuously published belief, but where is the proof it is true? Where is the strong analysis that after testing thousands of trades on hundreds of different instruments at many different levels (S/R, which was your...

When do you withdraw your profits to your savings account?

this is a personal decision. If you have a small account, and plan on trading a similar amount, it might be preferable to have a better financed account. There is a direct relationship between being undercapitalized and blowing out. If you plan to leverage yourself based on the amount in...
