    ES Journal - 2019/2020

As long as the LOD holds - odds are approx. 80 % we'll close above 69.

Looks weak, but the odds of a new low are slim. Long 59. Stop 53.

Top 4 traits of a successful trader.

A good and complete system have mastered all market conditions, so it doesn't need to change. IMO. Yes. All this is important and it's easier to be disciplined and keep your emotions in check if you have a system with a positive expectancy and know what you're doing with confidence. I...

Tomorrow S&P takes out pre covid high?

@Buy1Sell2 was bullish on the entire downturn. Not sure why, though. :)

Top 4 traits of a successful trader.

There was no mention of a successful methodology or system in your list. That's requirement number 1. :)

Tomorrow S&P takes out pre covid high?

I won't comment on specific members, but there's been plenty others who said similar things. I'll personally admit that I did not see this happening myself in March, but a few months back it started to seem quite likely from a technical perspective. It seems like many posters more easily bets...

Tomorrow S&P takes out pre covid high?

It may not happen tomorrow, but I believe it will happen this week, yes. The curious question is what happens when we get there. Will it get sold or will the S&P start printing new highs too? Just like Nasdaq?

    Hedging the S&P500

I don't have sufficient knowledge on the subject to make a comparison with options. Maybe someone else could chime in. Did you plan on hedging NOW or at some specific level/time in the future? As mentioned - an alternative could possibly be to have a stop sell order resting in the market which...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Missed the Week High by 3.25 points, but this post made prior to Wednesday's Open shows that a market's major direction and range can be forecast and predicted. :)

Distribution of up/down candles in a given series (indicator)

There's a lot of scams and unsubstantiated claims in the educational business. I'd say it's the rule more than the exception. Most newbies seems to want to believe only too easily and are easily impressed.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

+ 2 ticks on the day, so pretty much a scratch day. Messed up on the Open today going long too soon and stopped myself out on that deep pullback. My profits were used to pay for my losses. Not much to do from here as I'm flat and we pretty much hit the weekly upside target. The rest from here...

3345 tagged. ;) This could be it, but I'm betting we'll see 3350 by the Close.

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

How so? :) Looks like a scratch day for me so far. Well. Generally, the odds for that are about 10 %. Outside Days are rare too, but we had one yesterday.

Inside Days do happen - but would be odd to not at least see 3345 today. Decent swings both ways today.

I've signed up with Al Brook's Price Action course

Well, I have to disagree there. Trading - and especially day trading is a 100 % performance based activity. At least for the discretionary day trader. You're pretty much successful or you're not. No middle ground. What you kill is what you eat. Literally. In every other job I've had the pay...
