    Quick Options on Futures Question

Only from the bids and offers you see on the CME Never, ever enter market orders in options. The level for obvious errors are very high on the CME and it cost $1000 to file a complaint. I'm not familiar with these markets. If they trade like other markets, there are times of the day that are...

Anyone Here Use "Trade Ideas Pro" Software?

I don't know anything about this product except Lightspeed had a partnership with them in the past and we don't anymore. I just want to comment on the cost. Any trader will find the cost of this or any mentor program expensive. However, if they can train you to be profitable or offer a path to...

WOW, Proshares reducing leverage on two volatility funds

How would the OCC have made the adjustment under OCC rules? They can't have one option based on the old math and one under the new one, as the old one is no longer calculated and the OCC does not have a rules for this type of adjustment, as far as I know. Looks like another class action to come.

Question regarding historic NYSE trade data

I would expect no. Even if you contacted the exchange and asked for trades for a broker dealer, they would not provide that as you are not the account holder with that MPID.

    buy side OMS connectivity suggestions

You need to make sure the Prime broker will accept this. It is more typical for a prop firm or larger hedge fund to use this solution. It can cost $10K+ to maintain, do you have a large account that requires this? If yes, go for it.

    buy side OMS connectivity suggestions

madjoe, You should know that contracting for your own OMS is expensive and not every clearing broker or broker allows a customer to use their own and connect to their routes to the exchanges or even just for Prime brokerage clearing, Bob

    ally invest ... opinions/experiences?

Why? You should be able to see in your head the risk reward for simple complex spreads. You should know where you make money and lose.

Wiped out selling naked puts with no stop loss or credit spread

They trade pre-market from 2:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m CT. I have no idea if those brokers that have access would liquidate then or after the open.

Wiped out selling naked puts with no stop loss or credit spread

You can't liquidate SPY options before 9:30am ET. Not sure if that helps or hurts.

Wiped out selling naked puts with no stop loss or credit spread

That would depend on your clearing firm but in most cases ES options/SPAN margin , is very similar to Portfolio margin. Reg-T vs SPAN, SPAN is much better,

Is rebate trading with near zero commissions the future of active trading?

You will not make $0.01 on every trade. Some you will have to break even and have to pay for taking on some. Some you will lose a few cents. Back when Citibank traded enormous volume and moved less than $0.05 in an average day, this worked. Not today.
