Higher lows on NQ and ES holding up well. Come on now, bulls! :) Let's start ripping.

You mean NQ? That's what appears to be putting a drag on the market at the moment. Let's see if it's just a weak dip or an actual reversal. I'm still feeling pretty bullish on ES as long as 4210 or so holds up, although that hypothesis is weakened as soon as the current LOD breaks.

NQ losing steam at the highs, but ES holding up fairly well so far. Should get that push to 30. Would be exciting if it starts to rip higher than that. I can easily see 4250 today, but let's see if 4230 is on the table first.

Gap and go potential here. If pulling back, looking for support at the 4110 area. Pulled back to yesterday's high. Should be enough juice for 4230 at least, yes?

Technical trading today, Friday. As always, price needs to confirm, but I feel very confident that today will trade above Thursday's High in RTH. That's > 4215.50. The uncertainty is if that pop will get sold for a move back in yesterday's range or if we'll get continuation higher for another...

I don't really concern myself with the crowd, but I do pay attention when I notice chatter gets excessively bullish or bearish and will tend to think the market is prone to go in the other direction soon. For example, after this recent run higher there's likely a lot of late buyers coming into...

So, you're calling for a pullback / correction to 4K from here? I see a lot of air above 4200 on SPX/ES. You don't see us filling those gaps first before a possible pullback? More specifically, 4228.48 and 4283.74. Personally, I would guess there may be more juice left for another push...

LOL. Inaccurate, though. I even posted a short trade in this very thread. I'm long mostly, though. I don't see any problems with that. Even during the last two years there have been more points offered to the up side than the down side.

Really? Where do you see that? I don’t have my trade data open right now, but I generally play the long side more than the short side by a considerable margin. Including today.

One could argue that if you trade technically, the markets are always rational. I gave up making sense of the markets a long time ago. Of course, there's no harm in having a fundamental view, too. Maybe it could avoid getting too reckless / over-confident in either direction. Fundamentally...

VIX still low, but ranges and the moves have been picking up a bit since I started this thread.

I put on this trade as a scalp intended to hit 81 or so, but when the market just kept going above my target, I decided to just hold it and carefully trailed it after a while. Pure luck. This was the trade I hoped to hit with 3 contracts earlier today. :)

I'm sure this market have a lot of people scratching their heads. LOL. :) I don't know my TA. Care to tell?
