I was not making a call, I was making a joke. Not really a vendor either. Just a squirrel looking for a nut. Bob

Beyond Ninjatrader Brokerage - is IB the only broker offering Ninja? Any other options with Ninja?

Ninjatrader is the issue. In addition to selling you the software, they want part of the commissions. Wedbush futures can offer NT but NT does not allow it unless they are your broker.

    Day Trading: Mark-to-Market 475(f) Election?

1-you need MTM for that. 2-no. A single member LLC is a disregard entity to the IRS. Filters to your own taxes. You should consult a tax expert like Green. This is an important decision to rely on a forum for information.

Not likely. Wedbush Securities is not registered in Canada either. If they were to do that in the future, it would then open up us to offer services too. Bob

    Day Trading: Mark-to-Market 475(f) Election?

Is your question, "how can I expense the cost of the program?" Why not contact your accountant. I expect he will suggest you create an LLC for your trading and that MTM is not necessary to expense expenses. This is a good resource. www.greentradertax.com Bob

Does index futures curve go into contango in a bull market?

The spread between months in index futures is based on cost of carry-interest and dividend flows of the hedge which is the basket of stocks. That should only change when interests rates and dividends change.

who were the largest speculators in xiv

Most of these have to do with creation/redemption and are likely hedged. No way to know what speculator had a large position in one direction and even those might have been hedges or offsets.

How to use demo trades for better result?

I'm just accustom to the term "edge". The reality is one could trade randomly. Use a wheel to pick the stock, another to pick buy or sell then cover at the close. I think you need to find something that places the odds in your favor. If you don't have that, you will likely lose money after...

How to use demo trades for better result?

Agreed. But practicing over and over a process that does not provide any edge, will never move you forward. Find edge Test to make sure works Test with real money to see if still works. Adapt to current markets. Scale up over time. Find another edge, do it again, as nothing works forever...

How to use demo trades for better result?

If that is true, when will real trading make sense? Then, how will you know you would have executed the same trades without any changes?

Which were some brokers with technical problems during this week of market chaos with high volume?

We were fine this week but technical problems can happen at any broker. If you have the assets and trade full time, a second broker is your best bet.

How to use demo trades for better result?

Of course that is one use, but without fear and greed, you will find your actions will not mirror real trading. Demos are better for learning how to use the software. Trading with small trading sizes will be better for learning to trade.
