whats the typical "desk" fee you guys or futures prop shops charge guys to trade ? I have heard thousands of USD a month ? how much volume at those deep discount commissions ( compared to typical Retail Commissions ) would a trader have to do to sort of make up for this charge?

mark fisher in NYC does something like this as far as " Bias " goes in any given market although I am not sure how much if any weight he gives it over the ACD daily numbers and pivots

if you go to the CME visitors gallery ... and watch the SP500 or Nasdaq100 pits ... I am sure some of those people you see in the pit trading are making more than 1 point a day ( or at least they own alot of CME shares pre IPO ) :p
