    Beans Ever Going Down

Pabst pretty much summed up exactly what I thought as you explained what you want to do. Chugga chugga choo choo. "but mr train engineer, I'm standing right here on the track, dont you see me! Stop!" Train (hauling 75 cars) Errrrrrrr...chugga chugga choo chooo...bug hits the grill....chugga...

    DARVAS trading

Typically I like to see a high volume breakout from a base, and I will initiate my position from there with a small lot. I next want to see how the pullback handles itself (lower volume than the breakout), and if it does well I will add to the position. If not I tighten the original stop way up...

Why would you want to be a guru?

Well, some people become guru's because they could not make a dime trading if their life depended on it, but they really do enjoy the stock market and want to stay close to it. There are a lot of those types out there too. The thing is though, building a successful web business takes a lot of...

Why would you want to be a guru?

The breakup with Toni was definatly one of the lowest points in my life. I was with her from 17 years old until 30 years old, so really for at least half of my life that I can remember. It was not a terrible breakup, we remain friends and talk nearly every day, but I could not see a situation in...

Friends and family giving you shit about trading..

Trading is a business, and traders are as much entrepreneuers as any other small business owner. This is not a path that many people understand, but I have found that the longer you stick it out, and also show that you are not just bumming around the house but running a real and legit business...

Why would you want to be a guru?

I don't know if anyone will be particularly interested in this or not, but I'll go ahead and write it anyway. A lot of people have been starting threads about wanting to start websites to offer services to traders, others questioning why would any profitable trader want to “waste his time”...

Who's gonna save the market tomorrow ?

I got lucky (sort of) and was sick as hell all day, so I closed everything on the open..which I'd have not done otherwise. In the end being ill allowed me to keep my profits, which as I said I'd have not done if I was feeling better.

Who's gonna save the market tomorrow ?

A nice little gap up to suck in some unsuspecting bulls would be a textbook way for the day to go. That said this week doesnt really mean much in the grand scheme of things as everyone is in the Hamptons already and there is no volume up or down.

Who's gonna save the market tomorrow ?

And, just for the record, I wasnt trying to be funny. I am funny! Just ask my friends, if I had any they'd tell you what a charming guy I am. At any rate, I think I have wasted enough of my time on you, and we never know how many tomorrows God has given us, so I think what I'm going to do what...

Who's gonna save the market tomorrow ?

Uhmm...are you trying to pretend that you actually have a robust method and know how to make a nickle in the stock market? You get a D-, I hate failing people you know, at least you tried, participation, feel good award stuff and whatnot. I wouldnt want to make you feel bad.

Who's gonna save the market tomorrow ?

Its been almost two weeks without any bad news, and the market still can't take off even though the Fed is throwing money out in every direction. hmmmmmmmmm..seems like a strong market to me for sure.

What are the legalities of this?

Until the point that it starts to effect your own trading, why not sell them?

What are the legalities of this?

I dont have any problem with someone who is profitable, even barely (as long as its consistantly) profitable running a room. When I started doing mine I was pulling $2000/$3000 a month out of the market trading and that small amount played a large factor into my deciding at the time to try to...

What are the legalities of this?

I just read more carefully and you imply that you may not yet be profitable? As I've already pointed out to you legally speaking you are fine, but if you yourself can not yet make money, you may want to ask yourself about the morality of teaching/charging others to learn to lose it with you...

What are the legalities of this?

If you can trade with success you obviously trade and maximize your profits, but there are a lot of ways to do that.

What are the legalities of this?

I usually took the trades, you just have to be upfront in either case, if you are or are not.
