I like 30m charts the best for intraday overall trend analysis, because they respond quicker of course but more because the market divies up evenly into 13 bars not 6 1/2.

We're in a 'sell any rallys' mode the last few days. Keep a tight leash on longs. I still think a test of the December lows is in order. Lots of support there including the 200 SMA.

Right now the bears have the bulls by the balls and until we get past yesterday's highs the short term trend is down. Enjoy the ride while it's in motion.

What I found telling was that every time the market tried to rally today, it was sold off, with a solid sell into the bell. No V-reversals today, no daily hammer candlestick. IMHO there's more downside to go. Maybe a pause tomorrow and a washout reversal Friday? Should be a fun rest of the week.
