    Natural Gas

I see the spike in 2014....and the chart actually looks bullish. However, We must have a strong economy to support that case.

    Natural Gas

When was it at 8-10 ? Worldwide economies would have to recover for that price scenario.

    REITS - what's the outlook ?

PURAX really pulled back here after hitting new highs. Profit taking ? With the BOE announcement today, that should help it....no ?

    Interactive Brokers - position reporting

Don't need realtime.....portfolio is in mutual funds. However, I intend to convert these over to equivalent ETF's.

    Interactive Brokers - position reporting

Thanks for that Fonz....but % change shown on that report ? Sheesh... I'm going to check out the Neutral Trend Trademax software.....thanks for the reference.

    Interactive Brokers - position reporting

Am I stupid, or is it nearly impossible to get a report of each holdings position change from previous day to current close ? Portfolio Analysis nicely provides the aggregate change, but I want to see each position's change in value. When I create a Flex Query, all I get is XML output.....how...

Understanding the Risk vs Reward of Multiple Contracts

Why wouldn't the strategy work for more contracts (2,3,5,10) if it works for 1 contract ? Now if you were talking HUNDREDS of contracts, that would be a different story.

    REITS - what's the outlook ?

Continued weak wage growth and slowing job growth may put the brakes on REIT's. Another thing: with rental costs zooming, this will spark apartment development...and that supply will start to cap the monthly rents. I've witnessed this in my area already.

    Musk's Master Plan

Once again Musk is trying to draw attention AWAY from all of his problems.....safety issues, production issues, etc. I think competition is going to catch up with him soon and half his precious Tesla stock price.

    REITS - what's the outlook ?

No, CD, I am not...just wondering what OTHER factors could impact the value of REITS. For instance... If global economies continue to weaken, I can't see how real estate prices would continue to rise.

    REITS - what's the outlook ?

I see my Prudential Global Real Estate A (PURAX) mutual fund is near an all time high...... however, I wonder what could derail the REITs of which this mutual fund holds many. Can REITS get hammered only by a sudden rise in interest rates ? Or are there other negative factors to consider ...

Europe And European banks-when are they taking the US down ?

Excellent points ZD !! And let's add to the mix: still no TAX reform, no TORT reform, no FISCAL reform on the horizon. Taxes and lawsuits are stifling any potential growth in the US economy.

    AAPL

Zandy - the Apple lovers are like a herd of cattle being sent to the slaughterhouse. This is no longer a growth stock.....it's just another tech behemoth....that has run out of new innovations.

I say range-bound between $105 and $90....forever. Great credit spread opportunities here with options.

Europe And European banks-when are they taking the US down ?

Yes, I hear you...but I don't see the real effect...yet. We are at 1.5% GDP growth....if I see zero or negative growth, then I'll believe there is a cause and effect relationship here.

Europe And European banks-when are they taking the US down ?

CNBC's Carter Werth had a great chart showing the relative interest rates of all of the major European countries and compared it to the US rates....I think he was showing the 5 year note. My question is when will the USA finally be affected by Europe, especially if the latest QE attempts fail ...

    Home Depot

According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 11 analysts' forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $1.95. The reported EPS for the same quarter last year was $1.71. August 16th....plenty of time for it to zoom into earnings.... be careful Zandy.
