One thing I've learned is sell premkt at early reversals. If markets open red but start reversing green, I'll sell inverses early to book profits. Should be interesting to see where VIX goes.

what gets me is how our feelings toward the market shift so much day-to-day or week to week from feeling bullish like last wednesday post-powell, vs bearish like thursday. kind of bipolar, one extreme to the other. of course the goal is to be focused on doing what works, but the background...

Timing patterns and volatility are key for daytrading breakouts. Common broad market pivots like 10am, midday reversals, eod squeezes are all extremely important. Plus paying attention to VIX and which of the 4 mkts are leading vs lagging. And ranges, eg extended or early in breakout run...
