X-Trader with no monthly fee! New Transactional Model.

Are you willing to 'risk' to collapse your IT dept bc TT delivered (maybe) a not too perfect TT_Trader platform? Remember that a good part of FCMs and brokers waited several months before implementing TT 7.x. Knowing the great reliability of TT 6.x and the the so-so of version 7.x, I...

New Videocard: PCie 16x, 128 bit, DH, passive

Yes, clearly PCIe x16 is faster than the 'old' PCI. New PCIe 2.0 will be faster, too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express

[..] The sale does not include a larger division of Goldenberg Hehmeyer that involves proprietary trading, or trading for the firm's own accounts. Hehmeyer said that operation, which handles more than 100 million futures contracts yearly, will remain independent. [...]...

    Bond Trader 2007

John, thanks for your journal. I'm trying to understand your post: if the target is 111 04 why you 'probably' slash it down to 111 03? Do you exit half at 03 and the other half to 04?

New Videocard: PCie 16x, 128 bit, DH, passive

84.26 in fact is the one offered using the nvidia web site but strangely also the 93.71 shows Quadro NVS 285 compatibility in the list of supported cards. http://www.nvidia.com/object/93.71_winxp_32_supported.html

X-Trader with no monthly fee! New Transactional Model.

I hope Global Futures continues not to offer X_Study before GHCO is able to deliver good, fast and reliable performance over TT X_Trader 7.x -- I'm referring to the transactional model offers; maybe with the RCG (but you have to pay full TT fees) they are able to deliver charts, too.

New Videocard: PCie 16x, 128 bit, DH, passive

I'm still with this card, just asking for a natural upgrade path for 2-D financial applications. Also, out of curiosity; which nvidia drivers are you using? the certified WHQL 93.71 or 84.26 or...?

New Videocard: PCie 16x, 128 bit, DH, passive

gnome, I know you are favorable to NVS cards; in fact I chose the NVS 285 on the past thanks to your suggestions... :D .. but why do you expect a degradation of performance switching to one of those alternative 128-bit videocards?

New Videocard: PCie 16x, 128 bit, DH, passive

I'm currently using Nvidia NVS 285 videocards . Which would would be the natural path of upgrade for another card with these characteristics: - PCIe x16 - 128 bit - at least 128 Mb RAM - at least 350/400 Mhz RAMDAC - dual/multiscreen support - Passive headsink (no fan noise...

    cash dax in esignal

It's similar with futures.... they increased the cost for Eurex, too.... and rarely you can find a datafeed with Eurex for free as it happens previously. Now also with the demo software you can't access to realtime Eurex because they are asking a fees to the platforms vendors.

    TT X_Trader 7.x Vs. TT 6.x

I still have the same issues; it's not my side. I tested the same operations during the eCBOT overnight session and the feedback is the same vs TT 6.x ; that would be acceptable if it keeps the same behavior also during the morning in US. Unfortunately it seems there are bottlenecks on GHCO...

    TT X_Trader 7.x Vs. TT 6.x

Who switched from version 6.x to 7.x without suffering any speed issues, as I quoted in this thread (after upgrading the hardware specs according to the 7.x requirements)?
