question about licensing / trading with 2 firms

No, the prop BD will have you fill out a disclosure form and send it to your retail BD so they can monitor your transactions for compliance.

Looking for a prop firm for U.S. equities

This is incorrect. Prop firms will and do give you overnight leverage. Generally, you need to meet account minimums for overnight bp, but 6:1 is pretty normal from people I've talked to. Unfortunately for OP, I don't know of anyone taking non-us citizens.

    stock trading leverage

For retail trader 4:1 intraday and 2:1 overnight, that is an SEC rule. Prop traders can get 20:1+ depending on capital needs and risk profile of their strategies. If you have enough capital (around $125K) you will be eligible for portfolio margin, the leverage is dependent on the make-up of the...

Does a Prop Firm like this exist?

A prop firm would give you 20x leverage or more depending on how capital intensive your strategy is and it's risk profile.

Does a Prop Firm like this exist?

Risk capital and buying power are different. If you put up $100k and a firm puts up $100k in a split-loss deal your max loss is $200k.

Yes. I have a split-loss deal with my firm, the payout is much better than 50%.

Should I join this prop firm or keep trading for myself?

OP, 40% payout on a firm-backed deal is very low. Everything should be in writing, max loss, commission, BP, and ways for you to increase your payout. If the firm that offered you this deal isn't a registered BD, avoid it like the plague. PM me if you have any questions.

Does T3 ever provide capital, or just better leverage? I don't use more than 5x anyway.

I trade at another JBO firm, I know my firm backs traders in various ways. Just because you have more BP doesn't mean you are inherently risking more of your capital per trade.

Co-working - would you tolerate someone seeing your screens?

I have a coworker who trades remotely from a shared office that is shared by non-traders, and he does not mind it at all. No one has a clue what he is doing. Your biggest concern should be getting a business class internet connection, residential is notoriously unreliable and will cost you money.
