art ... do you ever look at changes in ( futures ) open interest totals or even COT report totals ?

I hope that IB does not begin to charge SEC fees because of this new lower commission

if you really consider yourself A: experienced B: have some edge or have backtested positively your system C: can handle leverage without blowing up then futures might be another way to go

saw this on bloomberg this am -Interactive Brokers this week has taken out full-page ads in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times, and the Chicago Tribune inviting Refco customers to switch their business to Interactive Brokers.-

hello sir ... why don't you trade small while testing your ideas ... using 100 shares DIA thats 1/5 the size of YM e mini futures so in case you are caught in some intraday and daily / overnight huge move (s) while you are away from the computer you will not get hurt that much or...

IB does not do floor brokerage to my knowledge I think they just would like more of refco's customer biz on screen trading derivatives worldwide I wonder how low refco's screen trading commissions were / are ? :)

steve ... so IB might update any examples on website in next few weeks ( i.e. bundled vs unbundled ) also ... could you estimate the volume threshold where it makes sense for a retail trader to go to unbundled instead of bundled in USA exchange based futures ?

looks like your memory is a tad off WEP56 the ES started trading in late 1997 according to the CME website ... -With the launch of the E-Mini S&P 500 futures and options on September 9, 1997-
