    I am bearish on gold

You can buy XAU gold stock index put options. It's based on gold mine stocks which have a decent (but not 1:1 !) correlation with physical gold prices.

Recession Imminent If Fed Starts Easing

No you're a fear monger that jumps on every little piece of negative news, extrapolates it into infinity and paints a picture of economic doom "It will only get worse from here".

Recession Imminent If Fed Starts Easing

Let's get the facts straight 1. We're already in a recession (don't believe the numbers the government is feeding us, it's all manipulated) 2. Gold will goto $2000 by December 3. Inflation is 15% annualized (see above, all manipulated) 4. 10y interest rate will goto 9.5% by Mid 2008 5...

    Short DAX at 7740

Property market in Germany is still very depressed in some regions. There was a big speculation bubble in the mid 90s (building properties in East Germany that turned out to be a bad bet) burned many private investors. Real estate prices appreciated in recent years but nowhere close to the UK...

How does Warren Buffet scale in and out?

And another Buffet thread taken off-topic. Happens all the time. You see the name Buffet in a thread and we get the same BS all the time: - "Buffet can't trade" - "Buffet is too stupid to use a computer" - "Buffet is greedy" - "Buffet didn't outperform XZY in the last 12 months" - "He...

How does Warren Buffet scale in and out?

BNI trades around 4.4 million shares a day, thats like 330 million over 3 months. At an average price of $80 thats a volume of $26bn. Market cap is $29bn. The only thing that's needed here is secrecy and thus a trading desk you can trust 100%. I once read Buffet asked the SEC for an exception...

There will be no Fed rate cut

SP500 up 4.2% YTD, Russel2000 down 1% YTD. Hardly a soaring market. SP500 was up 15% in the fall of 1998 when the Fed cut over LTCM. See any pattern? There is none. You and S270027 live in your own little fantasy world thinking that the FED looks at the SP500 and cuts when we drop 10% and...

    calculating fund performance

Performance is based on NAV (net asset value). It is different from AUM (assets under management). NAV can be down but AUM can be up at the same time and vice versa.

    Buy Northern Rock

I am not a bull and not a bear. I'm interested in making money, I don't what way the markets heads as long as I am on the right side. I've been reading about housing market problems and the "coming crash" for 3 years now. Again, do the guys that have been predicting housing problems MADE ANY...
