    Crisis Fuels Backlash on Trade

You mean, the currency-manipulating Chinese, who se single purpose is to become exporter to the world? Their only interest, is growing their exports to keep ahead of the western citizens coming out of the farms and villages looking for work. China gets into an industry, pumps a lot of govt...

    Crisis Fuels Backlash on Trade

Crisis Fuels Backlash on Trade http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123331716317333093.html I am STILL trying to figure out why it is such a bad thing if we are protectionist. Aside from raw materials, what exactly does this country need from others? We have such a massive trade deficit...

    Market calls...100% accurate!

    1) I gave him about 8 sites he could get his results audited (at least one was free). I posted this a few times. He danced around this repeatedly. 2) He said he WOULD get his results audited starting in the beginning of January 09.l - not "maybe" but "WOULD". And of course, he did not...

The problem starts with the title "Mentor's Dilemma" Then it gets much worse when the "mentor" projects into the trillions after a couple of years Standard paper trader plans - "If I use Fixed Fractional" and this much leverage for a sustained time, then..." They forget things like Risk...

i've searched thru all of ET for scalping threads...

true, investopedia says scalping is: trading strategy that attempts to make many profits on small price changes. Traders who implement this strategy will place anywhere from 10 to a couple hundred trades in a single day in the belief that small moves in stock price are easier to catch than...

    TV Show: Million Dollar Traders

I have done so multiple times in the past on this forum. You can search on "technical analysis studies" under my ID I have put links to studies and books about this a few times. The TA side has NEVER presented proof other than personal belief, experience and opinions. Since it is well...

i've searched thru all of ET for scalping threads...

Avoid scalping Avoid TA indicators, Gann, Elliott Wave, Fib, volume based, etc. Learn to trade price action. Beyond that, neither myself or others here on ET will spoon feed you profitable methods - we have bled through the nostrils getting where we are. You need to be willing to study...

Is CME ES solely traded electronically.

He means there is no reason to assume it will open again near the same price. If interrupted by some sort of catastrophe, such as 9/11, the price could be VERY different.

i've searched thru all of ET for scalping threads...

Best advice, stay far away from scalping. In spite of waht some paper traders here will say, it is a lousy place for a newer trader to start. The trading costs will make it almost impossible to be consistently profitable.

Where do the Top Traders Trade?

Ummm, your audited returns please? Otherwise, you are indistinguishable from the 99% of "mentors" or trainers who have no idea what they are talking about. Most ET gurus are not. They just talk well. Anyone who would hand over $7500 to an anonymous "you can see me in the chat room" is in...

You left out the most important thing I said above. I am repeating it: Not according to everyone. Price action followers do not consider it to be technical analysis. TA is pretty much people throwing cans of lagging indicators and patterns at a market trying to get value add. TA has been...

Use credit line to buy stocks

    1) bankruptcy is not that simple. 2) It screws up your credit history 3) It drives up your costs of things like car insurance or trying to get mortgage/loan. 0% interest on a new car? "Sorry, but not with your credit. How about a nice 12% interest rate instead???" 4) It reall...

One of the best quotes I heard in trading is: "Probably 90% of traders try using Technical Analysis . And probably 90% of traders lose their money." Secondly, TA fares poorly when longterm good studies have been done on it. The TA supporters always come back based on their opinion or...
