#1 tip for scalping is to use OTO orders... eg order 1 is buy-stop entry price, which once filled automatically then triggers trailing or hard stop.

As a rule of thumb I like to buy or scale in when whatever I'm trading ends the day at a 2day high, eg like F and OXY today.
