    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Actually, he did (http://www.elitetrader.com/et/index.php?threads/es-journal-2015.288816/), though I've missed the display of his trading prowess. Probably my fault.

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

So why not show some evidence of your trading prowess? Last night you were looking for "a good long entry" but was "willing to take a short if it presents itself". Apparently nothing satisfactory ever presented itself since you never posted an entry. Are you instead devoting yourself full time...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

The SLA doesn't use volume. Perhaps you could take a break from being a Nomadic CryptoPundit and learn something about what you're doing.

THE BAR INTERVAL DOESN'T MATTER. WHAT MATTERS IS THE TEST.

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

I don't know about 40D but, no, it's not an entry short. For one thing, price is still going up. And nothing is being tested. Therefore, there's no reason to short, though a beginner might short because he thinks it's "too high". Edit: Given the time axis on your chart, I assume you're in...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Again, you miss the point entirely. It's not the retracement. It's not the bar interval. It's not lines of one sort or another. IT'S THE TEST OF THE LL OF THE RANGE THAT PRICE JUST EXITED. Even if you plot a chart of 60m bars, you can see the retracement after the breakdown by looking at the...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

In all fairness, the problem appears to be a lack of trust -- not "faith" -- in AMT, and that's something that comes with a lot of experience, either RT or via replay. I made one trade this morning and I'm still sitting on it, solely because of AMT. But those who don't subscribe to it, or pay...

    Trading the SLA/AMT Intraday

Now don't be mean. It took me a few seconds to understand what you were doing, and I figured that since we're troll magnets anyway, why not make their heads explode? Those who want to see why and how I traded what I did are welcome to see today's post at TL. Note the timestamp on the initial...

    Book or recommendation for beginners

At 2248 last nite: As we're down 25 ES pts since then, one has to wonder what he considers a good short and the prudent use of capital. Doing nothing with it is not necessarily prudent.

    boru's price action journal

Is this some sort of dog-and-pony show that you take on the road, repeating it over and over again? You need some new material.

Everything of value I know I took from Wyckoff and Douglas (and Magee and Mamis and . . . ). That's the way it works. And I hope that what's happening here will be of benefit to someone in the future.

    Phantom of the Pits

Yes, but this was distributed in '97. By then, fundamentals were pretty much tossed and we were already into the bubble era. There is eventual exhaustion, but not necessarily in Wave 3. We can move into Wave 4. Then 5. Then 6. This bull has gone on for seven years. That's a lot of upwaves...

How can I view what is happening?

One has to start somewhere. If I had gone long when it rejected the lower limit and held until it reached the upper limit and it then broke through that limit, then I would have been long before the break. If it doesn't break thru, then the long is exited and the short is taken.
