This thread isn't about someone who (a) trades via indicators and (b) hasn't even looked at the pdf, much less read it. Please don't reply to his posts. He will eventually tire.

Sometimes the skill is to know when to hire a competent manager.

In business, maybe. Trading should be emotionless.

The process of creating the business plan reveals whatever necessary skills are not in place. One can be skilled and yet be an incompetent businessperson.

Well, everybody's rules are different. For me to have remained in the trade would have been just a bit too hopeful. But then I don't have any issues with re-entering.

Of course. Why else do you think so many fail? It helps to have at least some interest in what one is doing, but without a business plan, the venture will fail.

I realize that readers aren't exactly on the edge of their seats over this trade, but for the sake of at least temporary closure, I should point out that I exited the trade yesterday and will look for an opportunity to re-enter. Any updates will be posted at TL.

The point -- beyond gwb making up "facts" to fit his prejudice -- is that if it's negroes, it's gangsters and thugs. If it's whites, it's boys will be boys. The usual white supremacist hypocrisy.

That's because if you trade for the money you will be far more likely to lose.

The "reward" is purely accidental. It is not possible to determine in advance what reward the market will provide. Guessing correctly is not the basis for consistent profits.
