A Little Something to Re-educate Fed Conspiracy Theorists --

Jem, although you are trying my patience a wee bit, I am still going to be nice. You are a lawyer, so you should be capable of careful reading. But to be especially nice, I am going to call your attention to the exact wording of the St. Louis Fed, which is, overall, NOT in conflict with the...

You have a question, and I have a question: "Why am I so nice to you?" Have you heard it said? : "When your in a hole , quit digging!" (from last years Federal Court Case) Wells Fargo v. United States: Congress has transferred functional ownership and control of the FRBs [Federal Reserve...

jem, After re-reading what I wrote above, I rather like it. Having a little distance from my explanation above of what happens when the U.S. Treasury overspends (spends in deficit) has allowed me to recognize that what I wrote above is one of the clearest explanations of such that I have yet...

Why should the past have the slightest predictive power for the future?

Why, indeed, if you've drunk a cup of coffee every morning for the past 5 years, should anyone think it's likely you might drink one tomorrow morning?

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Nothing will be remembered except Trump inciting an insurrection, people dying and the Capital being sacked by a bunch of criminal Trump supporters who were trying to stop the ordinary peaceful transfer of power and who were actually dumb enough to believe Trump won the election because Trump...

A Little Something to Re-educate Fed Conspiracy Theorists --

Please be advised there is at least one part of the otherwise excellent video to which you gave a link to above that is incomplete and misleading. It is the section on the National Debt of Great Britain. What is presented is conventional wisdom. That is to say, the picture is one of the...

A Little Something to Re-educate Fed Conspiracy Theorists --

This is true. This is "inside money," and it is normally the main component of the the money supply. Don't lose sight of this inside, or "credit" money being temporary, as it disappears when a loan is paid off. The Fed, despite its attempts to influence demand for credit via interest rates...

A Little Something to Re-educate Fed Conspiracy Theorists --

All money originates with the federal government . This is what's called outside money. Fractional reserve banking creates temporary money. Credit money is "inside" money. Inside money can't exist until outside money is created and spent into the economy.

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

That quote was from only two years after the U.S. Central Bank was established in 1913. The Banking acts of the 1930s changed everything. Today's Federal Reserve System has little in common with the one established in 1913. The Banking that Ford knew prior to 1913 was what inspired his comment...

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Do you want to go back to pre-fractional reserve banking, as in "the old country", when a couple had to scrimp and save for 3/4 of a lifetime to be able to buy a house or half a lifetime to buy a car? . Do you like living in your in-laws basement? :D

Biden causing inflation by rewarding laziness

Well, lets not forget that money created by fractional reserve banking disappears when the loan is paid off. Is there a limit to how much credit a person can, or would want to, obtain? I would think so. Isn't it that limit that creates the short credit cycle in the economy? (See Dalio)
