    MultiCharts Standard vs MultiCharts.NET

Thanks for that FX....but the learning curve is scary....and I'm not sure I need all of those fancy charts. My needs are basic automated trading using my custom signals with a good backtesting platform.

    MultiCharts Standard vs MultiCharts.NET

I get that a lot....and never any specifics. I've coded some pretty hairy indicators and signals in EL....and never ran into a limitation or problem. Note: Moving to dot-net is a daunting and time-consuming endeavor....not sure it's worth it for me who is a scripting guru. Instead of trading...

    Multicharts Version 11 vs. 10

I've been out of the trading game for a while, and I am now jumping in full time. I have a chance to purchase an older V 10 license (lifetime), but I was surprised by how short the life span was for V 10. It seems like MC is putting out a new version every year now. I am worried that an older...

    MultiCharts Standard vs MultiCharts.NET

I'd love to know SPECIFICALLY what are limitations with Easy Language ? Doesn't Multicharts have a DLL API interface so that you can call DLL's written in C++, Powerbasic, etc. if you need something special that is not doable in EL ?

Quant Hedge Fund Acrospire Shuts Down After Clients Pull Money

So much for Cramer's touting of "machine learning" and "AI"....as it pertains to trading. Both of these technologies are in their early stages...and nascient-at-best.

    REITS - what's the outlook ?

Thanks for that diet suggestion....actually I love both.:) TSLA continues to confound...1 year chart shows continued uptrend support. Still, long term, there will be tons of competition arriving soon in the battery-powered auto market from GM, Ford, BMW, Porsche. Big question is : When ? As for...

A hedge fund started by a pioneering female investor has lost more than half its assets in two years

Gotta distinguish between trading and investing....big difference. That being said, I think women are not good traders for one reason: no balls.

A hedge fund started by a pioneering female investor has lost more than half its assets in two years

Dude - are you clueless ? Look at all of the sexual harassment lawsuits recently....females are in control....and thus they get all of the attention media-wise.

Developers building their way up to traders

Writing software and trading are two entirely different endeavors. Switching between the two could be difficult.....or a steep learning curve.

    Karen at court

Fraud is so easy to commit today....and many get away with it. The huge problem is that white collar criminals are never justly punished. Steal $10 million from clients ? - fine and probation. Steal $10 of goods from a grocery store ? - misdemeanor conviction. Our criminal justice system...not...
