Is OIL SERIOUSLY undervalued right now??

Your premise on Oil is nothing more than a stock market proxy. Except that the US stock market has been setting historical highs and the oil market is far from historical highs as the world is awash in supply.

Not understanding crude supply and demand

Well, to drill down a bit more - you have to be able to quickly interpret the statistics presented in a report, which is no insignificant matter. It’s not like the EIA, API, or the DoE make Buy or Sell conclusions. What’s more, I’ve seen markets react differently to news that might at first...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

Maybe 25% of the US hours trading range - maybe. During European hours ICE Brent is the leading contract, and WTI is not necessarily highly correlated with BRN these days. There’s not much North Sea Crude finding its way to the US Gulf Coast. Outgoing inventory only.

Not understanding crude supply and demand

NGLs like ethane and propane and butanes are traded as separate markets and they are tracked as separate categories by the API, EIA and the DoE. Refiners will blend some grades of liquid butanes into gasoline feedstock - but that's not crude oil stores. And it is technically possible to blend...

Not understanding crude supply and demand

While Crude generally speaking will follow the equity markets - there is so much supply on the market that it has a rather bounded upside. North America has defeated OPEC's attempts at capacity caps and the world is literally awash in crude supply.

Not understanding crude supply and demand

Yep. Overlay a Daily chart of the S&Pde 500 on the CL front month future. Generally speaking, broad stock market gains portend well for future economic activity - which increases the demand side of the equation.

US Treasury to issue 50-year bond

Makes sense for the US Treasury. Practically free money to buy more printing presses, Ford Class Aircraft Carriers, and to issue 63 million Social Security Checks.

Powell does not see signs of bubbles brewing..WELL OF COURSE HE WOULD SAY THIS

The Repo Market liquidity issues are entirely of the Fed’s own making. They’re playing catch-up. It’s not QE, but is the result of QE. During QE, the Fed bought up Treasuries - which created a vacuum for Banks looking for sovereign debt to use for operational liquidity and for overnight...

Milk-ageddon is here, and it’s the end of dairy as we know it

Yeah, when there is WAY more production than demand, and when the government subsidizes all the big factory dairy farmers and the government buys millions of tons of cheese and butter and milk solids every year to prop up the market... Been that way for decades now.

Powell does not see signs of bubbles brewing..WELL OF COURSE HE WOULD SAY THIS

Yeah you get a sniff of it. Weak Investment Banks and Hedge Funds will fail and the word gets out. Bear Stearns’ problems with CDO’s became public knowledge in June of 2007 when they backstopped their failing hedge funds with $3B. Even then there was plenty of talk and front page financial...

Micro CL contract - support the introduction by CME - petition

A micro CL contract has absolutely no bearing on my trading. None. I would opine that this is something already in the pipeline for the CME. ICE already has a mini CL contract, so it’s likely just a matter of time. My concern is the OP’s background. I hate to see anyone piss away money -...

    Learn to wait

The best traders that I've seen are more like ambush predators. And ambush predators like to wait. In fact, one of the most successful animals to inhabit earth has done so for 240 million years. It wastes very little energy when not feeding, and it's success comes from biding it's time and...
