    Iterative Refinement

Perhaps, the above quote represents your experience. However, by determining at the close of a bar the market mode (continuation or change), one need only then learn how to 'see' change earlier. FTT, FBO, etc. represent vocabulary acronyms designed to assist the learning trader how to understand...

    Iterative Refinement

Start to 'think' in terms of lower lows and higher highs. Combine these Price formations with the Volume to obtain the correct color for the appropriate Price and Volume bars. Then, the Gaussians should come into clear view. Try learning to anticipate the BO of the Laterals, rather than...

The bottom of your chart (red bars colored black) you have correctly interpreted. The top of the chart (The Outside bar) you have not. You also missed another IBGS. - Spydertrader

    Iterative Refinement

Again, this is incorrect. The bar made a lower low. As such, the bar is Red. The bar remains Red unless and until it turns into an Outside Bar. Simply because your charting software performs an action by default, doesn't mean that default action is a correct one. - Spydertrader

While your charting software may have chosen to change the bar color, that doesn't mean it did so correctly. - Spydertrader

    Iterative Refinement

As I have said many times, Any market, on any time frame - provided sufficient liquidity exists. Simply annotate the charts for these stocks, and look for the Longer Term Trend Lines. Exit when Price breaks the RTL of the Longer Term trend on increasing Volume, or change the trading fractal to...

    Iterative Refinement

You have two choices: 1. Post a chart noting exactly the bar in question, or 2. Require that I go spend my time looking for the chart snippet while you hope my charting software labels time in the same fashion is your charting software. Which course of action do you believe best suits your...

    Iterative Refinement

Correct. Intra-Bar Gaussian Shifts do not change the color of the bar. The acronym IBGS explains what occurs within the bar. - Spydertrader

    Iterative Refinement

I only know one way for a bar which makes a lower low (or higher high) to change color, and such an event did not take place here. - Spydertrader

You continue to perform very well - in all types of market conditions. If you have the time, perhaps you could describe your trades (why you entered, why you held, why you reversed or exited) in an effort to enlighten those still struggling toward consistency. I'm confident many would find such...

Maximum ES contracts you would trade with $3,800 account

No. I do not agree. Instead of spending all your time creating polls in an effort to learn how others think, why not simply learn to think? Spend the next few months actually learning to trade, rather than, attempting to trade with an under capitalized account. Can it be done? Sure. No doubt...

    Iterative Refinement

First Three Bars of the day. The market has yet to enter into 'sync.' As a result, today, we see a battle for dominance between red and black, long and short, up and down. After 'sync' takes place, things become much clearer. Middle of the day confusion. You have an FTT which made a lower...

    Iterative Refinement

What you have posted represents conflicting logic. If you cannot annotate Gaussians, then the problem most definitely resides with monitoring. 1. Stop changing the Price Bar Colors based on whether or not the bars show Outside or Inside Bar formation. 2. Make Volume a significantly larger...

    Thanks msg to the Mods

Trader28 doesn't need the mods to 'let him back in' to this web site. Trader28 simply uses another annonymous Proxy Server to log back on moments after a banishment. The current incarnation of Trader28 is misterman. But hey, I'll try to keep up next time. - Spydertrader
