Will today be a rinse and repeat as yesterday? Time will tell. I don't buy too much in these down days. Something is fundamentally strong in the market. Correction? yes but collapse? No. I also believe the top is limited too. As I post this, ES is down over 1% and market is not open yet.

I agree. I don't see SPY over 141 in short term.

I checked DOW. It was down 1.5266% today at its lowest.

1.5 to 2 were just rough numbers. As I was typing market was moving around like 1.7% to 1.4% and then up. I am sure Russel 2000 was down over 2% at some point today although I don't follow Russel 2000 :)

Two things happened that makes me believe that being cautiously bullish is the way to go now. 1- Sunday night, the futures were down about 1.5% but by Monday, market came back and closed almost flat/green. 2- Today market dropped hard but is coming back and many stocks (including my fav YHOO)...

Market is down 1.5% to 2% today. However based on the low volume and the fact that we already had a few down days, I sense a rally in the market. It is coming. Maybe by the close today.

I have a different recommendation: Increase your account size. If you reduce it, then the mentality is that you can gamble that money because you have more to replace if you lose but if you put all in, you will be more careful.

Do you do all these trades? when do you get out? do you wait till the end? (I guess you should because if you get out early, I believe your profit will halve because of the commission and slippage. If you have all those trades, your account should be a mess (lots of positions).

Isn't that what we need to be profitable? :)
