Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

Obviously the end goal is to make money. However, the focal point WHEN trading has to be the process one is using AND WHAT the market is doing. Am I executing? Am I doing WHAT I am supposed to do WHEN I am supposed to do it, HOW I am supposed to do it regardless of how I feel?

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

Well I been trading for a long time. If my recollection serves me right I’ve only had one margin which was promptly settled. Look I am in a trade and in and out often within 5 minutes OR LESS and on occasion maybe 20 or 30 minutes. Rare rare one hour.

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

BECAUSE YOU DIDN’T HAVE A GIVE UP POINT SET!

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

In theory maybe. In real trading it doesn’t work that way.

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

Don’t need to backtest it. It is a losing strategy. Creates multiple consecutive losses. By averaging down I am exiting, with profit, near my original entry along with high win rate. If strong comeback even more. :)

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

Not if a trader has his SL’s set :)

Can Market Makers (bots) see your stop in ES/MES?

Gentlemen This is precisely why averaging down as the market moves against my position can be so lucrative and render high win rates. But alas, the gurus have drilled into us “never ever average down” and “only losers average down” ...etc This said, I still gotta know “when” and “how” to do...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

Good scalp. Now with the pb you have an opportunity to short again and average down by adding to your new short if the PB continues. Thus on entering again short at the pb you will basically be compounding your profits because you grabbed your profits on the first scalp then on the pb to your...

    Lesson learned

I rarely add to winners but then I am a scalper. Sometimes I do add to winners if a good move is unfolding but in the world of scalping (1 to 8 points as I define it) adding to winners can see me underwater very quickly as price gives me 4 points and instead of taking it I add more and then it...

    Lesson learned

The dangers of averaging down without a hard give up SL in place! I don’t know where that traders long entry was at on the chart or his averaged down points were at, but I see plenty of give up points, places where he should have dumped it, doubled up and went short. Apparently he didn’t have...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

That is how I look at it. INTIAL risk is simply a PROJECTION, not reality. That is, I think this trade might go against me so I put my stop here (In x place) just in case it does. But instead as soon as I enter ..bam... it goes my way... I suffered no adverse movement so in REALITY I had no...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

Yes nearly a 2:1 (Reward to risk) providing on that red bear bar (your entry bar) that you entered near the close and price subsequently never went against you beyond that red dot, after the entry. Now if you entered before the close of that bear entry bar and price went back up to near the...

    Red-Pilled Trading Room!

Seems like most around here are anti Trump. Best make haste and find another forum. Many tears will be shed when he wins and decimates the left. THE liberal left leaning ..no clue crowd...will wail....and gnashing of teeth. Most here, it seems to me, have swallowed the blue pill...blissful...

Techniques for Day Trading the ES, NQ, YM, MES, MNQ, and MYM

If your first trade was entered near the close of the bar Then your actual risk was very little as it was simply 1 tick below the low Of the next bar. Therefore your R:R was somewhere near 4:1 (reward to risk) as your actual risk was tiny. good exit mathematically. Your second entry was A long...
