For clarification, I should mention that IB does not charge any commission for closing 1 cent options be it sell to close or buy to close.

Another thing to consider: Why IB only charges about 1.5% for margin and almost all brokers charge between 7% to 10%? Are their money crispier or fresher?

Yes I am also interested to switch from IB. I had an option trade today on YHOO for 50 contracts and I just paid $4.86 for 50 contracts which is less than 10 cents per contract. It is outrageous. IB's system is unstable, when I logout from TWS, I cannot see the quotes anymore.

And when the market opens, and we have all the news and see the charts and support and resistance levels are tested, we still lose because we are wrong.:D

Now it is 2:23 PM and SPY is down like 0.2%. I feel today SPY will close GREEN.
