    I don't believe this for a second. A poster called Acrary has done statistical work on daily returns for retail day traders on elitetrader...just to have 90% winning days let alone rare losing days, you need insanely good win rates.

    Another objection to day trading is the signal to noise ratio. The amount of noise that occurs on small time frames can overcrowd the signal. In fact, it might not even be distinguishable from noise. Whereas a signal on a daily or weekly or monthly time frame stands out far more clearly.

    I would say that if you can day trade very profitably, then, sure, why not? The vast majority cannot though. Worth finding out quickly though, you don't want to waste too much of your limited time on Earth.
