    Indirect connection fees

The exchanges charge display and non-display fees for market data. Depending on your market data provider and their relationship with the exchange and how they report an open API, would determine that cost.

Is IB still my best option?

We are an alternative for US Listed Equities, Options and Futures. We do not do the rest and we do not offer Universal accounts. Equity/Options and Futures are not together. https://www.lightspeed.com/testimonials/

Another question on margin (initial requirement vs. buying power)

Good morning nijshar28- If you get approved for 4X margin for day trading, we still have some symbols that require a higher margin for a number of reasons. please give us an example of a symbol you are interested in. We are not that broker, so I can't speak for them.

    Options Trade Not Filled Question

The offer at $0.22 is offering liquidity to the market, and you, if you buy the offer, are taking. I doubt that is the issue, you need to call your broker.

    Options Trade Not Filled Question

Some brokers do not allow you to take liquidity. Maybe your option data was down. Did you call your broker yesterday?

Cheaper financing than IB's margin rates?

No. SPX is traded in an Equity account not a futures account.

how send preconfigured orders in market .

I can't speak for IB, but this is called a Bracket Order. Here is a description from CQG, a futures platform we offer. A multiple leg Order-Places-Order (OPO). The first leg is an order with any regular order type (main leg). Once that leg is filled or partially filled, either one or two...

    Anybody else worried about IB?

In my experience, the largest hedge funds don't trade "only" futures and Spot FX. Putting that aside, they use larger banks to custody their AUM and the reality is there is no guarantee.

    Noob question about futures

I agree that the Elite Trader Forum can help find answers to common and uncommon problems. That said, you have to take into account the source of the response. They might have had a bad experience with a trading strategy that might not apply to you. You have to separate opinions from facts and...

    Thinkorswim vs Interactive Brokers

Sorry, but no. TD's equity orders are sent to an equity MM like most of these free services. The free trading at TD and other online brokers has been great for our business. It has shown traders the benefit of active trader software where you can have choice of routing and trade from 4 am to 8...

    AMP alternative ?

Good morning john.wick-We offer futures trading at Wedbush futures. We do not offer very low margin. I'd like you and anyone else reading this to understand that almost all US companies are remote today including us at Lime/Lightspeed. You can't expect a fast account opening in this environment...

    looking for fcm

This would be a better conversion on the phone. The NFA/CFTC requires all futures trading be traded in a Segregated Futures account which is not protected by SIPC. Some brokers with Universal accounts sweep money not required for futures margin into a SIPC protected account. We do not do that...
