    ES Journal - 2019/2020

Yes. Not quite clear at the moment. If lower - I'm not looking for a strong leg down today. My best bet for now is that the LOD is in and that we'll trade up towards 2810-20 by the Close.

Anticipating the LOD (if not already) at 2754 or finally 2727 for a strong move higher.

Bullish today. Can't rule out a move back down to 2727 - but ultimately I think today will close higher than we open.

Asian Market Index Futures? Anyone does trading at night?

Asian markets seems to be very attractive for both swing and day trading. I do not have direct experience, but several members of this board have spoken highly about HSI index futures and also the Nikkei 225 and NIFTY futures. Comments I've read include saying that these instruments are...

Insane. Trading this seems like gambling to me. :)

Erased last week's gains just like that. 2711 is last week's RTH Low.

2843,50. Then, possibly 2864,50. Long bias.

    Darvas Box Revisited

Great book and interesting story. I may want to revisit it again soon myself.

    $2,000 to $200,000 in 2020 at 2.00% per day.

Good luck, @sstheo! The markets will be here when you're ready. I hope things work out for you and your family. :)

Sure. Still I believe there's a middle ground between $500 and $26K. I used IB back in the day myself, but when I got back into the game their margins were simply a tad too high for my taste.

That's why I'm coining this the FED FOMO rally. Unless someone already used that term. :)

And there you have it... Interesting. Are you scalping multiple equities (at the same time)? If so - how do you find them? Do you track a few and go for specific set-ups? For intraday trading I always felt it was best to focus on only 1 instrument. I could see an exception if one were...

Sure you're not there already and that it's merely a matter of growing your account (instead of withdrawing)...? Or are these 5 figure traders making that return on a similar capital base as you? You're only scalping equities by the way? Not futures? Nice job. :)

Renaissance Says Quant Models Misfired During March Mayhem

To be clear - this is for the RIEF fund which is open to outside investors and not the Medallion fund. Right?

Bear market? What bear market? I know Victor Sperandeo did some work on classifying bull and bear markets. One of his criteria was to use not only a percentage change, i.e., 20 %, but also a time filter. Using a time filter - one may very well argue that we never entered a bear market. As of...

    ES Journal - 2019/2020

I checked that for you. Generally, the odds of the last major swing being up on a Friday is 63 %. Adding an additional parameter that was in effect yesterday, the odds of the last major swing being up on such a Friday as yesterday is 70 %. What this means is that while a last swing down...
