    Backing Away/Options Quotes

Best practice, if you feel your option order is not being represented at the exchanges, is to contact your broker and ask what’s happening. Too many variations that could’ve caused this for me to even guess. Would have provided a faster resolution then your complaint to regulators.

Professional data feed for personal account

That would be up to your broker, how you log in and their data provider.

Professional data feed for personal account

Find one platform with great charts and pay once. Eze EMS (formerly RealTick) has the best charting that we offer, but Lightspeed and Sterling are still very good. https://www.lightspeed.com/trading-platforms/realtick-pro-and-express/realtick-platform-features/ When I say best I'm referring to...

Professional data feed for personal account

Correct. We use that sheet for most of our futures platforms. But notice that Professional is still the standard and you must qualify to get Non-pro. Not the other way around.

Professional data feed for personal account

I can't speak for the old days, as I'm not sure when the exchanges even started to charge for real-time market data. Today, they deem market data as a profit center. The Professional Market Data feed is the standard. If you want the Non-Professional exemption, you have to fill out the non-pro...

Incentive fee OTHER than high-water mark?

I'm not sure I agree with the comment about the High Water Mark. I will say it is a fair question to ask, "What percentage of the Fund is a direct investment of Management." There is your skin in the game.

Incentive fee OTHER than high-water mark?

I have invested for myself and for my family in both CTAs and Hedge Funds. When it comes to fees, I care the most about my net expected returns vs the risk I'm taking. Just looking at the fee schedule does not tell the story for me. E.G. A long-short manager that averages 5%-6% a year, alters...

Incentive fee OTHER than high-water mark?

I would never invest in a manager that does not use a high watermark. Without it, the manager shares in the good months but never has to make up the bad ones. It is typical to charge a management fee and an incentive fee. The higher the fixed costs of the manager, the more important the...

Best IB Algo for very illiquid stocks?

Interesting. We offer both but on different software. Is faster always better when it comes to algos or is less market impact and better end pricing the goal on these?

Why is FoxRiver not good? I have heard very good things about them.

Which Broker is the Cheapest if your trading 200,000 to 500,000 shares daily? ECN Rebates too.

I'm not sure how to respond to your part one question about "adverse selection". If you mean the market impact of entering an order to buy/sell 10,000 shares, that will differ from symbol to symbol, time of day etc. With regard to other routes and order types, any order can be any of those for...

Hi pragmatic-trader, that picture looks like LS Trader. We checked a few other platforms with different data feeds and that sale was on them.

Best IB Algo for very illiquid stocks?

Why would it be a joke? I have no idea what IB offers on their API or terminal, but we have access to dark pools and different order types like midpoint peg. See Attached as an example.

Which Broker is the Cheapest if your trading 200,000 to 500,000 shares daily? ECN Rebates too.

JesseJamesFinn1-Because we offer a Per Trade rate that starts at $4.50/Trade and with volume can get to as low as $2/Trade, max order size of 10,000 shares, and access to ECNs that offer rebates, I expect we can save you money and still provide fast order entry and fast executions...
