yes, it can be done, I am in a chatroom with several succesfull traders, we each have our own way of trading, so we don't copy each other. Some of them are doing really big size. You got to find your own way though, that will take years of spending a dedicated 10 hours in front of a screen...

It will be hard to find anything better than Oanda, espescially when you take into account they have a hard stop where you know where you will be executed. Good luck on that with futures.

Read up on the history of IB: they were making tons of money before they ever had any clients. No need to be paranoid. But they have to put that there cause they are making markets. Making markets is not the same as frontrunning. I am pretty much convinced they don't frontrun.
