    Introducing 4XProp

if it is a real prop firm, it would be obvious to me 1 and 2 need to leverage down ;-), 30% drawdowns are insane to me, that's for non-experienced traders ...

    Introducing 4XProp

Very curious what you would answer here yourself, you make it sound very obvious, but the way you ask this makes me think there is something here that's not obvious to you ...

    European Futures

They just stop trading for something like 10 hours, so of course there will be gaps at times ... nothing you can do about that ... in fact there are pre and post hours trading cause the futures markets are open earlier and longer than the underlying markets just not 24 hours.

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

you take entries with small stops and let them get to even smaller stops soon afterwards or move your stop to breakeven. You try to let your winners run. A lot of them won't work (the majority) but that's not too bad cause these losers will be small. You put the odds in your favour by having a...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

it has hardly anything to do with reversals like clockwork, everyone I know that makes money is doing a lot of trial and errors to see where this trade will take you. That's what most people don't get imo.

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

yes, in a way you might say I am a trendfollower myself too (although most people would call it scalping) just on a really really small TF: I try to find the entries where the market reverses, jump aboard and then try to let it run.

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

Your argument is right, your conclusions are wrong. ---------------------------------------------------------- well what might seem random to you might not be random to me, I can't vouch for your trading, I trade 1 minute charts, I can assure you these are not random, I know people who do...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

Ha, you have no idea how many times I am wrong, really ... maybe 30% trades really works out well (anywhere from 10 tot 25 pips for me), 15% are break even, 18% of twenty are small losers (like 2 pips), 20% are real 'losers' (-6 pips, that should be my most), and then there is a variety left of...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

prices are not random: there are real people with real emotions buying and selling there ... if you learn how to read prices you can spot them ... bigger traders trade on bigger tf's ...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

one more thing: don't expect people to give away the house for free on what they have been working on for years to perfect it, you'll have to fill in the details for yourself. The good thing: there is a lot of info on the net; the bad thing: you'll have to wade through a lot of mud to find it...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

to be sure you really get it: you have to take a directional bet. btw, you could easily ask a demo of www.prorealtime.com (you can get one for 7 days for free the last time I heard) and backtest this strategy like described above: entry away from current price and trailing stop. I have tested...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

your position is like having a stop-entry away from price, so yes untill that point it's basically NO position, if you think this is anything like a straddle you really need reading up on options (but seeing your questions about options that's nothing new to me :D ). This is all about...

My losing, forward-tested Forex strategy (charts and equity curves) - let's fix it!

imo this doesn't even come close to real trading, it's more like blind gambling with some obfuscation of two subaccounts (wth is it with this both going long and short at the same time ? that's the equivalent of no position at all). Learn price-action it's the only thing that really works from...
