Getting a "real" job as a trader

You won't be getting any type of job as a trader or assistant. Ivy leaguers and above pretty much. Financial world only cares about you have a finance degree, your GPA, and where u did your internship. If you don't have those, or at least a real good school, you are screwed. Nobody cares...

    Finally a buyable pullback.

Yah, thats me I'm trolling. You guys are ridiculous. I daytrade the ES, and swing trade my 401k with the hopes of beating the market each year. Works out well for me. I dont care if u agree or not. Here's the pic to show I wasn't kidding. Pic on next post.

    Finally a buyable pullback.

I just moved 50% of my 401k from cash to the S & P index. Nobody knows whether this is a good pullback, or the beginning of a sell off. Buy the dips. If we're wrong, oh well.

    When will the volatility return?

volatility shouldn't be an issue. The market is still moving enough to make some decent cash. ES had some really clean price action today. Granted the afternoon run up didn't net me 15 points like it would have in 2008, I made a solid 3.5 points off the move and I was happy as a pig in sh#t.

    Is this possible?

So i just took a look at a bunch of his trades. I'm calling BS on his trades and his returns. I don't understand why he lets some calls run to expiration and lose 100% when he could have exited with some premium left. For similar setups, he takes a tiny loss and some he takes a huge loss...

What Posters do u have on your ignore list ?

no, you can't volunteer. You actually contribute knowledge to ET, lol. I especially liked your post on the "why do 5% of traders fail" thread. Very nice ! Gives me some ideas for my own trading.

Banker struggles on $350,000 a year

These people are unbelievable. If i was taking in $350k, that means my take home income is $200k. My a$$ would be saving $100k / year until I had a nice $2 mill nest egg, then I'd retire.
