Looking for good remote prop trading firm

You guys are all fooling yourselves.....as there are no REALLY GOOD prop trading firm "deals". The prop trading business is like the temp employment agency business....they're interested in one thing: profits-only, not you as the person. They don't give a shit about what you want. Good luck to...

    is this guy for real?

John wrote the book "Rocket Science for Traders" but I never found it to have much value. The guy is impressive in his knowledge of indicators however.

A firm like that one you traded with in NYC. Glad to see that you are back in the game and re-capitalized.:D I visited that firm in NYC and got one deal verbally. Then, when they sent me the contract, they had changed the "deal" to their favor. I said "forget it". Later on, I discovered their...

cox is proud of the job the sec is doing.

Agreed, but let's do it one better: GET RID OF THE ENTIRE AGENCY. They just suck-up resources and don't produce a net positive economic effect.

cox is proud of the job the sec is doing.

Just so perfect : So who gets jobs in the government ? STUPID or LAZY people ! Let's see Mr. Businessman: Would you ever hire someone who had experience and appeared qualified...but they had the problem of being STUPID or LAZY at times ? Answer: No, NEVER !

cox is proud of the job the sec is doing.

Listen up. The SEC's recent boondoggle is IDENTICAL to that of our nation's most embarrassing moment: 9-11. Why ? Similar situation, just a different governmental agency involved. That's all. In other words, in 7 years, our government hasn't learned from it's mistakes. What does that mean ? ...

S&P's David Wyss Says U.S. Recession May End by Mid-2009

Be careful now...that statement was very appropriate about 18 months ago. Ask Doug Kass who sweated thru some really nasty drawdowns in his fund. At the time, it was Doug who looked like the "idiot"....his shorts were getting CREAMED. Of course, he is now a GENIUS. But we now must watch for...

It's obvious that community-based and open-source software has serious implications for reliability. THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL WHO USE IT. Listen-up....I'm no great fan of Microsoft, but at least they listen and eventually fix their software.

    java

See prior posts on the technical aspects of running Java. There are a TON of special command-line switches that could make a huge difference in your "java experience". Yours has been horrible...natch. Best to keep changing to a prior release if the "latest and greatest" causes problems.
