What is your definition of an uptrend? How do you quantifably determine when we are in a uptrend vs. not in an uptrend?

Wow, a pretty big gap down today?? Price is going right back up, though :D

SPY's new 5% pullback price is $128.81. Today was only +0.13% though, so it's not like it was a huge up day.

2/8: No trades.

This morning looked like it was going to be a down day. Then the market was like JUST KIDDING. New 5% pullback is $128.46.

A new high today. The new SPY 5% pullback price is $128.27.

2/7: No trades if you can imagine that! At least today was a real up day.

2/6: No trades. Fake down day today. Yawn
