    ES Journal - 2023/2024

Flat at 42 for a 12 point gain. I hope I wasn't low ticked. May re-enter later as I don't think we have the HOD yet, but just watching for now. I would guess we pullback to 37-38 and go back up towards the HOD by the Close. Alternatively, we're stuck up here around 42-45 before we squirt...

Lock in 12 points at 42. Limit order at 5355 for now, but will probably trail behind market if this pops. If we retrace from here, it could be a deeper one, so better take some off the table and re-enter if the long side still looks good. :)

Buy now - ask questions later vibes... The FOMO is strong and nobody got time to wait for Nvidia earnings. I'm pretty sure 50 pops today. If it runs or gets sold is the uncertain part. Paper hands should fold here on the long side as this was a good pop. I'm comfortable holding this for now.

LOCK IN 10 POINTS HERE AT 40. LFG! Probably worth a re-entry if stopped around the same area or at lower prices, but securing 10 points here. :)

Back in long at 30. Give it 5 points of wiggle room for now.

Putting stop at B/E. Can't say for sure if the PB is over or if we drop further in RTH, but will be around for a re-entry if stopped. EDIT: Stopped B/E. Looking for re-entry, but may wait until RTH.

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

Moving stop to 33. 0.5 point risk for a potential 26.5 point gain (5360). I can afford to be wrong a few times. Tempted to add, but don't like to be aggressive on the long side when we drift too far from the RTH Close as we're vulnerable for a PB. Waiting for RTH for further entries if any...

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

Friday was monthly options expiration and no big movers on the horizon today except a few FED speakers. Looks good for a 5360 touch in RTH, but may see a pullback to Friday's Close first. Longed 33.50 with small size as the entry point is not ideal. Will stop out for a small loss around 31...

Any traders that live within a 2 to 3 hour drive of DC willing to meet and take trading seriously?

Actually, it doesn't matter for you or anyone else at this point as I'm not trying to sell anything to anyone, nor disclose specifics about what I do. But I do feel I know enough to give some general advice and common sense now and then. I day trade ES 5 days per week and still usually spend a...

Any traders that live within a 2 to 3 hour drive of DC willing to meet and take trading seriously?

If you're trading micro contracts with a bucket shop and have to use that to pay bills, you're not approaching this correctly. Withdrawing money to pay bills is fine if you have a massive account. If you have a small account, you're essentially impeding any possible progress. Find some other...

I understand. If you're not a prior poster on this site (name started with C), I could introduce the two of you as your posting style and interests (trading together) is very similar. At any rate, if the problem is scaling, maybe you could consider trading linked accounts. Either your private...

So, the problem seems to be scaling the account...? Am I missing something? What's the individual you're seeking a collaboration with supposed to help you with? Seeing that you seem to suggest you're light years ahead of people.

Because it isn't obvious to me if he's short. I don't see the harm in disclosing that. Posting the chart is only halfway there and a bit too comfortable. I want to see a little more boldness. Stand up and stand by your view! Feel free to ask my position whenever you want, but there should be...

Well, the single most valuable statistic for any intraday index trader is that most days by far ain't an Inside Day. I'm sure that alone could be a building block for a trading system. Personally, I think a lot of the tick-by-tick movement throughout the day is largely random or unpredictable...
