    Al Brooks Net Worth

You're a troll. I reported your post and posting history to the moderators.

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

Good. Now ask yourself and answer honestly: Can you achieve a 95-100 % win rate long term trading noise?

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

So, risk 3 to get 1 (or less if it's 3 ticks). You know what win rate you need to accomplish that?

    Al Brooks Net Worth

He's selling the dream like so many others. And gullible newbies think they're on the path to riches since they don't yet know any better and gladly pay up if anyone can "help" them. Success in trading is for the few. That's just how it is.

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

What's your risk (stop) scalping for 3-4 ticks? Good luck. You're gonna need it.

    Al Brooks Net Worth

LOL. ET is like a kindergarten lately. Did anyone check that page at all? It's a fabricated number from a BS web page. Whatever net worth Al have I would be extremely surprised if any of it comes from actual trading in the markets.

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

I hold myself to a very high standard and maybe I have too high expectations. What I've come to realize from participating in various forums is that I'm a far better trader than I've given myself credit for as I'm now at a place where losing days are rare and I usually know what to expect on any...

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

I'm in no particular camp, but yes, I did say that Scat's BS hindsight TA stuff doesn't work sufficiently. Pretty much, yes. Not sure I ever said that. I do use several indicators. Mostly custom stuff and not the classical TA indicators. Nothing fancy, though. I'm not a trading coach...

Algos watch Patterns, Trendlines, Channels, Support and Resistance

Let's not get lost in semantics. I'd be happy to rephrase the question as consistently profitable. :)

Algos watch Patterns, Trendlines, Channels, Support and Resistance

What most people fail to realize is that in a market such as ES which is extremely competitive there are hundreds if not thousands of strategies (manual and algorithmic both) being employed simultaneously with trading decisions being made for a wide variety of reasons/triggers/signals. This...

Algos watch Patterns, Trendlines, Channels, Support and Resistance

If it works for you, fine. Question is - does it? Are you rich doing this...?

Algos watch Patterns, Trendlines, Channels, Support and Resistance

Since when is Al Brooks an authority on algorithms. LOL. Brooks is a salesman talking his own book.

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

Yes. 100 % agree. It's much better to actually study the market. Back-test/back-check, forward test, back to the drawing board, rinse and repeat. I'll add that for all we know, it's quite possible @padutrader is even a better trader than Al Brooks already. :)

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

You're too kind. I'm an engineer and I can tell you there's plenty of stupid people working at my firm where I find it amazing they even made it through school. Regardless, a good brain and attention to detail may not be sufficient for trading profitably. As long as it works, I have no...

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

There's an eco system in the trading industry as with everything else. In this case, Al Brooks is a vendor who makes his money as a salesman. You, are the customer. The only one who's laughing all the way to the bank is Al Brooks collecting risk free money selling his courses... :)

WHAT IS A SECOND ENTRY ?

All this seems unnecessarily complicated and not worthwhile. There's first, second and third entries, failures, failed failures, failed failures of failures, this and that. Why not just buy near a swing low and sell near a swing high? Mark up the major levels and catch a piece of the day's...

Poll: After how low are you considering being profitable?

I think it's complicated to answer, but anything less than a year seems too short to infer anything meaningful, IMO. Just as important as time and trading frequency are market conditions. For example, one year of active trading in a QE fueled bull market (could be that such a trader uses a...

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

Bidless market. Open gaps below on SPX at 4150, 4115, etc. I imagine we'll see at least 4150 getting filled. Not necessarily today, though. 4200 might cap this for today.
