Any traders that live within a 2 to 3 hour drive of DC willing to meet and take trading seriously?

LOL. @nonpln, If what you say is true, then keep it to yourself and harvest. Don't tell a single soul anything until you've accumulated your millions. And maybe not even then.

    ES Journal - 2023/2024

I won't claim it was an easy sell, but I did short that area and made a good profit. From my point of view, the market rallied hard post FOMC, but clearly ran out of momentum, so I expected at least a decent retrace back to mid range. I didn't use "pin bars" to observe that. The point I was...

One candle in isolation is meaningless. In fact, maybe candles in general are meaningless.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Looks like the bid fell out of the market.

Where's the V? Looking more like an A from my point of view. Maybe I need glasses. :)

Perfect example of why S&R is just plain wrong analysis.

Prediction/analysis < Trading. The former is usually always right. The latter is usually not.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

My simple view, technically, is that the correction which started earlier is still in play, but it's obviously hard to navigate as these strong rallies makes everyone pile in thinking the correction is over. I wouldn't be surprised to see 4980 or lower on ES this week. And ultimately 4800 or so...

False. Look up the last 50 FOMC days and you would know. You did well for a few months, but these last few months you've been completely off mark. As late as Monday you said we'd never go below 5K again on SPX. Curious on your view unless it's not a secret. The FED's next move seems...

Vote: Who thinks S&P500 will reverse trend in the next 10 days (2 weeks)?

Biggest move today is down so far, though. I'm sure you'll be wrong a second time, too. :)

Should Arcades be called prop firms?

A fellow Norwegian boasted about being massively funded with investors in Texas. Turns out he was paper trading with Apex. LOL.

Hard to believe you've been around for over 20 years and are now asking help publicly about where to find charts.

    Trading Breeds Assholes

I don't think trading per se necessarily breeds assholes, but, admittedly, I do think trading tends to attract a special type of personality. That does not include every idle dreamer who gives up after their first initial and inevitable failure. Now, so called trading mentors are a very special...

    Algo & Quant traders

My two cents in between some back-checking of historical price data: 1) The problem with algorithmic or system trading in general is that market conditions are constantly in flux between various states or modes and degrees of volatility. This is why one algorithm can thrive periodically, but...

A-Week still in play. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. :)

A big rally by Monday close?

Initial target was the gap fill, but I knew (oh no), that today had a good probability for rolling over, so I wanted to hold for 5060, but decided to trail it out in case I was wrong (which I was). I'll accept the compliment, because selling into this market is one of the hardest trades for me...
