Yeah. SPX closed at 2529,19 yesterday. 2346,58 is a key level on the SPX for various reasons: 1 - 30,85 % down 2 - 2018 Low 3 - Very obvious. Everyone and their dog is watching this level. I think we're set to test this level today and quite possibly break it, unless the PPT starts buying...

I'm thinking this (2485 - 2530) should be a good sell zone for the next major leg down.

That's a mighty tight stop in this environment. Kudos for pulling that off. I imagine your entries must be excellent and very selective.

What's your average stop in this volatility? The average 1-minute bar today have ranged between 7-15 points. Mostly around 10 points. Unless entries are perfect or done at key levels, I'd say at least 10 points would be a minimum stop on a day like this. My initial mistake a few weeks back...

I get all my signals from ES, but like to watch NQ and the NYSE TICK for support. Generally, for a strong move, you'd want participation among all the indices. If ES is making a new high, but NQ is well below the HOD, I'd be very cautious and look for ES to print a top. Or if you want to short...

As for today - it's an expected consolidation day after yesterday's historic down day. We're pretty much repeating last Tuesday here. I would bet on a close above 2430 by 16:00.

It probably does not apply to EliteTraders, but I saw a TV-Show once where they were asking young Americans about the outside world. Turned out there were quite a few who thought the USA was the only country in the world. :)

Pretty much a repeat of last Monday price wise, but worse percentage wise. We're actually closing down nearly 12 % on the day. In one single day. That makes this the worst Monday or day ever since Black Monday October 1987. Last Thursday now gets the 3rd place. Incredible.

You should tell that to the governments worldwide before they shut down the world economy. Putting the effects and harm of the virus aside - the real concern and impact here is that the world economy just stopped moving. Very unlikely that we'd drop 30 % this fast, too - yet here we are.
