It is exceptionally impossible that a currency might be totally useless

Good you reminded me Bighog this was even a question lol If it was ... however the most serious answer would be ... if it's a normal currency it's not possible ... The Zimbabwe dollar fully proofed this :D ... however in the case of cryptocurrencies that is still a real possibility

    What are your Trading Breakthroughs?

The realisation that in the end I couldn't just copy someone else but just had to find my own personal blend of technical analysis http://localsfoolsgold.blogspot.be/2013/12/daytrading-20131203-tribute-to-irish.html a tribute to one of the biggest xspurts (pun intended) of trading

Seasonal tendency so far not playing out in gold

Long term investors in gold should be asking at this point: where is my stop, what is my 'uncle point' cause we are clearly in a bear market. http://localsfoolsgold.blogspot.be/2013/11/stops-your-financial-lifeline.html

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

well actually for a daytrade, looks like we just had our moment around 1264.60. Longer term the technical picture clearly broke down some more today. http://localsfoolsgold.blogspot.be/2013/11/daytrading-20131120.html

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

Missing the orginal short at 1286 forced me into a rather difficult position, thus the last two wrong trades. Things should get better again from now on. Next important point is around 1260 USD. Bears are in full force mode...

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

for a maybe longer explanation how this might turn into something really bullish. Read this: http://localsfoolsgold.blogspot.be/2013/11/how-to-analyse-and-end-of-week-what-do.html I like to call it my Madame Soleil scenario since a lot of things still have to happen before it can come true. At...

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

at this point in time I'd like to see something bearish on my 15M that rolls over into a 2H signal. At this point in time 15M isn't showing anything bearish (yet ?) the only thing I see there are bullish signals for now.

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

yup, as you can see there has been quite some morphing at last minute going on in the charts these last few hours. This makes me (while bullish) also extremely carefull here ... untill prove differently I am going to stay with my position for a while. If proof shows up to the contrary I might...

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

the next 8 hours (at most) should be telling, it's not my favourite setup, but I am relatively low leveraged and got a pretty tight stop at this moment. Nothing really bad can happen to me ... we'll see what happens in the end ...

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

yup, at this point in time it's a sideways channel, let's see what it looks like in a few hours ... if it is really a sideways channel I should get a signal to get out. If it's not might be the start of something really bullish. No crystal ball here.

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

I originally stated I was going to try to play the breakout of the 8H inside bar. And this is what happened in the end. This isn't the too easiest of zones. I might go short again later if there is proof.

extremely bullish on gold: an extended techn. analysis.

I finally got into a long in the end at 1275.80 since the 15M morphed in the end after all, stop at 1270.75 and hoping we can soon move that to a safer place.
