total nonsense being told here about dividend here, either you are called before dividend date and you lose the stock with the dividend or you are called after the dividend date, then you are called upon the stock ex-dividend. It's one or the other, no paying late dividends afterwards or...

there is no such thing as right or wrong, but in a general sense it's better not to write options farther out than 3 months as time decay is the fastest during these last 3 months and that's what you want.

one of the things you have to look at is how active you are going to be: and then chose bundled of unbundled; that might really save you a lot of money. Can't help you on the details anymore cause I moved over to trading fx with Oanda, but if I was doing options trading I would most likely move...
