    well, you can put a profit target of 5 to 10 pts both long and short with two accounts, solve. i am doing this right now. unless it is directional, it makes money. if only one account, use a different expiration contract.

    cash deposits are insured. stocks, bonds, etfs are instruments, you can transfer to another firm. sipc covers up to 500k I think, including 250k cash.

    it is held at your name internally within regulated brokerages, dtcc won’t have your name. most large brokerages use dtcc as custodian, but could have used banks or transfer agents. i have seen dtcc payment prints, payable to recognized street names only.

    I think this time is not KPMG's fault. SVB didn't cook the book or anything like that. It is AFS/HTM treasuries maturity mismatch.
