I encourage you to review my charts (posted throughout the day today), comparing each portion of the day on my charts to your own annotations, in an effort to 'see' what you missed (both on your first pass and on your second attempt). The Pennants Discussion arrives in September of last...

Then you have reading comprehension issues which fall outside my realm of expertise as both Makosgu and myself (along with many others) have posted extensively on the STR - SQU Signal. - Spydertrader

Depending on indexarb.com was exactly the point I was attempting to convey. There is a superior provider of offset - the market. Using this provider, allows the trader to 'see' certain clues provided by STR / SQU (in combination with the OTR Chart) previously hidden within the 'normal' STR / SQU...

You might want to perform your search once again ... Response for the OP, if you calculate your own INDU (using the DOW Divisor and the changes for each stock in the DJIA) you should experience superior performance with respect to STR / SQU. In addition, automating the 'offset' eliminates the...

Sure - once you consistantly post thoroughly annotated charts. Until then, placing your focus anywhere, other than the 'M' portion of the M-A-D-A process, serves no purpose - other than to create obstacles to future success. As many others have posted (throughout last year's future journal and...

You've missed a number of trend lines / formations on your attached chart. I encourage you to focus on monitoring and annotating for the time being - setting aside thoughts of 'trading' until you have built a rock solid foundation with respect to understanding the Price - Volume Relationship...

why the hell futures lower then cash ???

When the market sees a less than rosey outlook for the future (no pun intended), we have the cash above the futs. - Spydertrader

I mean, don't you two find it odd that every annotation error appears in the exact same fashion on both your charts? See attached. In other words, if only one of you actually annotates a chart, why post two charts? - Spydertrader <img...

why the hell futures lower then cash ???

The Dow cash has been leading the Dow Futs since rollover. Most all of 2007 (with a few exceptions [Feb 27 being one]) Futs were leading the cash. - Spydertrader

Drop to a one minute fractal to 'see' the changes within that five minute bar - increasing black to decreasing red to increasing red - all within the same bar. However you wish to annotate that sequence is how you should do it, as long as you can 'see' the changes as they develop. - Spydertrader

With all the lines I had drawn in at the time, I kept 'grabbing' a trend line instead of the 'Lateral' annotation when attempting to 'extend' further in time. I've since had an opportunity to fix the annotation. <img src=http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1905899> No...

Increasing Volume does not need to appear on the same Bar where one annotates the Point Three. However, one must have increasing Volume at some point after the Point Three, and before one sees increasing Volume of the opposing color. - Spydertrader
